WELCOME TO BMCC

Bristol Musical Comedy Club is one of Bristol's foremost amateur Theatre clubs .
We were established in 1926 and have been providing entertainment for the people of Bristol ever since.

Join the story of Joe Casey who, on the night of his 16th birthday, makes a decision that will change his life forever. Our House follows the two paths that Joe's life could take after that fateful night; one path means a criminal record, while the other will lose him the girl that he loves!

Our House is an epic, passionate and fast moving romantic comedy, featuring the music of Madness, one of the UK's biggest selling bands including hits Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love, Driving In My Car and House of Fun.

Our House was the winner of the 2003 Olivier award for Best New Musical and has since gone on to tour both nationally and internationally to great acclaim. Through the music of Madness, writer Tim Firth explores the themes of love, family values, growing up, responsibility and dealing with losing the people that shape us.

OUR HOUSE was first produced at the Cambridge Theatre London on 28th October 2002.  Producers were Tiger Aspect Productions, Rupert Lord, Andre Ptaszynski and Phil McIntyre in association with Madness. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd
